A silk dress with hand-smocked pleats that open gradually along the length, with a broad boat neck, a shaped collar, and in-seam side pockets. This dress is a show stopper and very reminiscent of Mariano Fortuny, circa 1925 - 1949 the Spanish artist-designer who worked in Venice, created pleated gowns that have come to be surrounded by myth.
